Information you give us

You share information with us when you fill out a form or contact the club. Depending on the form, that can include:

• Your name, email address, phone number and mailing address
• The content of your message, question or request
• Range reservation details — the bay or range requested, date, time and number of shooters
• Volunteer interest, including the roles and dates you sign up for
• Employment enquiries and any information you choose to include
• Order and shipping details when you buy merchandise through our online store

You do not have to give us any of this. If you would rather not use a form, call the range office at (941) 322-0055.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our website and the services used to deliver it may receive technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, interactions, and referring website. Analytics can also use cookie identifiers to distinguish browsers and sessions and estimate general location. Reports may summarize activity across visitors, but the underlying information is not necessarily anonymous.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website activity and improve the site. Analytics may use cookies and similar identifiers to measure visits and interactions. Google Tag Manager manages website tags; the tags it loads determine the additional information collected. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. That add-on does not disable other website services or all forms of data collection. Blocking cookies may affect features such as shopping carts, forms, or sign-in.

• To process range reservations, membership applications and merchandise orders
• To coordinate volunteers, training clinics, matches and club events
• To send club news, event notices, closures and schedule changes to people who have asked to hear from us
• To keep the range safe and to administer club rules and membership records
• To maintain and improve the website

When we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

• Service providers. We use GoHighLevel/LeadConnector for our website, forms and customer relationship management (CRM), along with providers for membership administration, communications and payment processing. These providers process information needed to deliver the relevant services. This policy covers the club's handling of your information, including processing performed on our behalf. HighLevel describes its processor role in its privacy notice.
• Club officers, staff and volunteers who need the information to do their job — for example, an RSO confirming a reservation or the office processing a membership.
• When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people at the range or the rights and property of the club.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Analytics providers and embedded third-party services may receive technical information as described in the Cookies and analytics and Links and services run by others sections.

Payments

Online purchases are processed by a third-party payment processor through our website platform. The club never sees or stores your full card number. Your payment details go directly to the processor, which handles them under its own security standards and privacy policy.

Links and services run by others

Our site links to external platforms and includes embedded services, such as Google Maps. An embedded service may receive your IP address, browser information and other technical data when it loads or when you interact with it, without you leaving our site. External services used for club activities include:

• Volunteer sign-up sheets — SignUp.com
• Match and event registration — PractiScore
• Maps and directions — Google Maps
• Job postings — Indeed
• Social media — Facebook and Instagram

Each provider's privacy notice explains its own collection and use of information. Google's handling of Maps information is described in its Privacy Policy. Please review the notices shown by other providers when you use their services. Where the club receives information from these services to administer memberships, registrations or requests, our handling of that information remains covered by this policy.

Emails and text messages

If you ask to hear from the club, we may email you about hours, closures, matches, leagues and club news. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask the office to remove you at any time. We may still contact you about something you specifically asked us for — a reservation you requested, an order you placed, or your membership.

Children

Junior shooters are welcome at MGAC with a parent or guardian, but this website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 13. Forms about a junior shooter should be completed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us information online, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep information, and how we protect it

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was given — membership and range records for as long as you are a member and for a reasonable period afterward, general enquiries for a shorter time. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect what we hold. No website or system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information the club holds about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also opt out of club emails at any time. Write to [email protected] or call (941) 322-0055 and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights over your personal information. Contact us using the details below and we will honor any rights that apply to you.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will post the updated policy here and change the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced to the membership.
