Ranges & Facilities · Myakka City, FL
Three hundred fifty acres of purpose-built ranges — pistol to 1,000 yards, action bays, a covered training bay, 5-Stand, a 3-D archery trail and an air-conditioned classroom. Every one of them is described below with what it's for, how to shoot it, and how to reserve it.
The directory
Public means you can shoot it on a walk-in basis during normal hours, Thursday through Sunday. Rental means the space is reserved by the half or full day for instructors, groups and members. Several ranges are both.
Rifle & pistolWalk-inThe heart of the club: four separate areas and 82 covered benches on a concrete pad. Pistol side at 5, 7, 10, 15 and 25 yards with a .22 rimfire steel gallery; rifle side at 50 through 300 yards with steel gongs at 300, plus a short 10-yard berm for new shooters. Always open Thursday–Sunday, even on match days.
Precision rifleWalk-in · RentalSixteen bench rest tables with paper and permanent steel targets. Open to members and the public during normal hours unless a match or rental has it — check the calendar before you drive out. Home of the 600-yard steel gong and bipod-prone matches.
Long rangeWalk-inRoughly eight bench rest tables on the main line looking out at steel gongs a thousand yards away. Available to members and the public during normal hours to shooters who have qualified at 600 — each shooter, rifle and sighting-system combination qualifies separately.
Pistol & PCCWalk-in · Sat & SunSix shooting positions, 25 targets, drawn from the holster with movement, window and door engagements and hostage-taker head shots — run 1:1 with an RSO and tailored to your level, from CCW to competition to tactical. Pistol from 25 to 7 yards, pistol-caliber carbine from 45 to 20.
Training baysRentalThree private bays — North with the Cowboy shoot house, Middle and South — each about 20 by 30 yards. Steel arrays, barricades, movement-heavy drills, custom stage design and small-group instruction without distractions. A favorite of instructors and competitors across Southwest Florida.
Covered training bayRentalThe most requested space on the property. A fully covered firing line on a large concrete pad with seven 25-yard stations and five long-range stations stretching to about 125 yards — carbine and rifle work and close-range pistol in one all-weather bay.
ShotgunWalk-in · No daily feeThirteen traps throwing crossers, battues, quartering birds, springers and rabbits across three courses of fire — novice green, intermediate blue and difficult black — with singles, report pairs and true pairs. Seasonal leagues run eight weeks. No daily range fee: buy a token and shoot.
ArcheryWalk-in · No daily feeOne of a kind in Southwest Florida: static bag targets from 10 to 60 yards, a hunting-practice tree stand, and the 20-target Borsari Trail winding through natural terrain with realistic angles and elevations. Entirely open to the public. ONLY Field/Target points — NO BROADHEADS!
Start hereCheck-inEvery member and guest checks in here first — waiver kiosk, daily fees, wristbands, qualification cards. Air-conditioned, with restrooms, a snack bar, water and soft drinks, paper targets, clamps, chamber flags, eye and ear protection, ammo in common calibers, and club shirts and hats.
InstructionRentalA climate-controlled classroom for firearms safety and CCW courses, match briefings, armorer and gunsmithing seminars, manufacturer demos, youth programs and meetings — then walk straight out to live fire. Rents on its own or as a $20–$50 add-on to any range rental.
Matches & eventsBy reservationCompetitions run on dedicated ranges so the main line stays open to the public every weekend. Steel Challenge, Florida Multigun, APEX, 600-yard gong matches, benchrest, archery 3-D shoots and Steele Industries night events all have a home here — and hosts can bring their own.
Long-range qualification
We let shooters work up to longer distances as they demonstrate accuracy. Each qualification is recorded on a card in the office for a specific shooter, rifle and sighting-system combination — a second rifle means a second qualification. You do not need to be a member to qualify.
Reserve or visit
Walk-in ranges are open Thursday through Sunday, 8 to 4. Rentals are booked through the club manager with 30 days' notice — every rate is on the pricing guide.
