Volunteer at MGAC

Give a few hours. Keep the ranges open.

Most of the people you see working at Manatee Gun & Archery Club on any given day are volunteers. Volunteer Range Safety Officers keep the lines open, and other members handle maintenance, staff the office and represent the club at gun shows. It is how a member-owned club runs, and it is the fastest way to get to know the place.

Why members volunteer

What you get back

Volunteering is not just labor the club needs. It is the best deal at MGAC for anyone who spends real time on the range.

Earn your membership

Volunteers can earn free membership through their hours. Put in regular shifts and the club covers your dues.

Get certified

The club runs NRA Range Safety Officer classes for members who want to work the line. Call the office to get on the next one.

Know the club

You learn every range, meet the match directors and staff, and become the person new shooters ask for help.
